C100’s water treatment plant and bottling plant is staffed by the residents of the Nnewi hospice in southeastern Nigeria, which supports people with mental illnesses. The water is treated, then sold to the community, and the proceeds are used to fund the running of the hospice.
People who were previously a burden to the community are now productive members of society, and the local community benefits from clean, treated water.
